Rockies accept

Trying to acquire pieces for expiring deal. Trying to get younger also with cheaper deal. Lopez would have cost me a lot and I already have Cole and Snell on expensive resign deal. Marte is close to the majors. Pfaadt have struggle but I could not get a better prospect in that deal. Thompson is fine. Thompson should play in the major.

I confirm. I was looking for a SP to solidify my rotation and after several back and forth, we came to this outcome.

I’m giving up 3 highly ranked prospects, but am receiving a very good SP in Lopez. I should have the cap space to retain Lopez after this season.

Thanks to the Rockies and best of luck to them in the future.
