Astros trade:

SP - Dallas Keuchel - 9,500,000 (2020)(2021TO)((Re-Sign))

Red Sox trade:

C - Tyler Flowers - 3,000,000 (2020)
RP - Nick Goody - 300,000 (2022)

I've been asking around and couldn't find much interest in Keuchel. He's a solid SP who I think can easily be a good contributor for the next two years. I think the lack of current team, re-sign tag, and fairly large salary have really cooled his market. 

So... I'm basically taking what I can get. I'm maxed on Re-signs and would prefer to re-up Wheeler this off-season and move forward with him instead of Keuchel. That's what it boils down to for me. The return is what was available.

Boston accepts the trade, willing to take a chance on Keuchel.

I've mulled this one for a while.  I think Boston is getting a really good deal out of this ordeal. Keuchel is consistently solid and only doesn't have a team due to awaiting the Harper-Machado fallout.

Both owners are long-tenured and respected, so I'll lean with an approve because of Houston's cap space, re-sign situation, and I know how hard it is to situate the catcher position.
