Rockies trade

Nick Kingham, RHP (PIT) $300,000 (2023) *2011 3rd Round Contraction Draft
Zach Gallen, RHP (MIA) *2017 3rd Rd Contraction Draft
2018 2nd Round Contraction Draft pick

Athletics trade

Robbie Ray, LHP (ARI) $300,000 (2020)

Rockies trade some prospect with potential for an established pitcher still under control for a few seasons. Ray has struggled this season, but is still in the top 25 starting pitchers. It remains a safe bet for strikeouts. Kingham and Gallen should pitch in the majors in the coming seasons. However, I do not believe that these pitchers will reach the same level as Ray.
