Cubs accept, giving up Stud SS which is a position of depth with Trea Turner to replace. Getting upgrade in OF, backup SS in Beckham for this year then he will be 3rd and I have a ton of young SS prospects. Zunino again giving position of depth. Getting McCarthy on 2 year at good price need pitching.

I don't know what to do. Don't want to be in a league where a ton of trades are rejected but this one doesn't make sense to me.
Margot - 71st OF Fantrax 2017, B+ from Sickels in '17, Contact/speed/defense profile, .263/.313/.409/13 HR/17 SB in 487 ABs Beckham - 21st SS Fantrax 2017, can he repeat breakout year? Even if he does, he was the 21st SS, .278/.328/.454/22HR/6SB in 533 ABs Ramirez - UT eligibility, well outside top 100 hitters fantrax 2017, 2 of last 3 years have been pretty bad with a very nice one in between, 34 yo McCarthy - Hasn't been healthy since 2014 and almost 35, well outside top 100 SP fantrax due to injury but hard to project health for this guy
for
Lindor - #1 SS Fantrax 2017, 24, minimum contract for 3 years, .273/.337/.505/33HR/15SB in 651 ABs Zunino - #7 C Fantrax 2017, .251/.331/.509/25HR/1SB in 387 AB's, one year contract only Nimmo - B-/B from Sickels '17, Dealt with injuries (collapsed lung, wtf?), .260/.379/.418/5HR/2SB in 177 ABs, small sample but more or less fits his profile
So it seems like a nice young CF who doesn't have a big time offensive projection, a middling SS/3B with pop but without much track record and who swings at everything, an older UT getting close to the finish line, and an older SP who can't stay healthy for an extremely high end young SS, one year of a C with big time pop but with a spotty track record, and a decent OF spec. Am I missing something? Gotta deny but more than willing to listen to counter arguments.
Deny (1-1)
PS I think it's pretty dubious counting Oakland's comment as an approve. Smell's like a deny/want no part of it to me.

sorry i accepted from iPad last night i can add more to my thoughts and why i wanted to do the trade - Fantrax has this written about Margot -" His current 146 ADP appears a fair risk/reward for a player expected to take an important leap forward. Further development this year could see him pushing 20 homers and 20 steals and testing that 100-run target " Shortstops I have on my roster Trea Turner Beckham if trade goes thru back up for 1 year - then will probably just be 3rd which helps with Rendons contract ending Gleyber Torres - probably going to be 2b but who knows if DiDi gets hurt SS- Pinder, Chad (OAK) (Selected In 2013 FYPD 3.19 - 59) (7) - again probably 2B SS- Robertson, Daniel (TBR) (Selected In 2012 FYPD 2.19 - 39) (10) SS- Rodgers, Brendan (COL) (Selected In 2015 FYPD 1.1 - 1) (40) (3) (12) - probably up sooner than later and Rockies could trade Story or if he gets hurt again So as you can see I have a ton of depth there and will either have to trade them or make room at some point - I feel my OF is weak - I like Margot and feel he is an upgrade for what I have there now - and i feel he will get more SB's than I will lose with Lindor Beckham will probably be a back up SS this year and UT - and who know could end up playing if he duplicates last year 280 and 22 HR 67 runs 62 RBI on a good contract McCarthy - I agree outside top 100 pitchers but I have a hole in pitching - what rotoworld has about him "McCarthy scattered five hits, and he didn't walk anyone. It's been a very strong Grapefruit League for the right-hander, and his ERA in Florida is now a minuscule 1.42. You have to worry about his health because he's battled injuries seemingly his whole career, but when healthy he's been an effective mid-rotation starter. He could be undervalued at this point in fantasy drafts" - so not looking for an ace but a solid SP if healthy so I like rolling the dice on him until I can get younger better SP Hanley Ramirez - yes is older, but he is forecast to be starting 1b for Boston this year with them signing JD Martinez - as of right now Justin Bour is my only 1B I like him but I need a backup if injured or maybe a better option - Ramirez is reported to be in good shape - and I get a couple years of control on him - what rotoworld wrote about him"Ramirez is healthy this year and could be poised for a return to glory if he gets everyday playing time. The signing of J.D. Martinez moves Ramirez from DH to first base and could limit his at-bats, but we don't think Mitch Moreland's presence will put a healthy Hanley on the bench too often." players giving up Lindor - Stud no way around it - good power and speed - 273 average last year 33 HR 89 RBI 99 Runs Nimmo - young OF clock is ticking on passed rookie limits unless injuries in New York probably not a lot of AB this year and who knows on future Zunino - break out year last year for catcher - but in last year of contract - I would not resign I have Contreras, Lucroy, Chirinos still - I posted on the 19th that catchers were available only Boston inquired So the way I break it down Lindor for Beckham/Margot/Ramirez - which could be a little more than Lindor is worth maybe/maybe not - trade evaluator www.fantasysp.com/trade/mlb/9685181/lindor-margot-beckham-ramirezI see it as giving up 1 piece to get 2 1/2 players that will make me overall better - I said 2 1/2 because I felt like another player should be going back to Boston Nimmo - not as high on him so giving him up offset the 1/2 in my opinion - I was getting Margot and Beckham on good contracts this gave Boston another young player back that they liked so then that left McCarthy and Zunino - again i said i need an SP and Zunino was going to a bench player for my team - and no one else inquired about him and he is in last year of contract

Wow absolutely love this for Red Sox. Pass Sorry, other leagues we use Pass as a form of approval. I'll explain my thought process better. Obviously Lindor is the best player in the trade. With Beckham in Baltimore, he should have a better chance at playing time and I think he should be a middle of the road SS/3B option this year. Margot is the leadoff hitter in SD and that offense should be much more improved so his Run total will increase. If Hanley can finally stay healthy, he is a great hitter. Nimmo probably needs to get traded to get a chance at everyday playing time barring injury but he has a chance to be solid. Overall, I think Boston does win this trade, and I love it for him because Lindor is great. Could Cubs get more, maybe? But I think with Gleybar and Rodgers both in his minors, as well as Turner, I don't think it hurts him enough to justify vetoing this one.

Agree with Astros comments. Lindor alone is worth more than that. His value shouldn't be lessened because of team depth.

Denied (2-3)
Sorry, i had to mull this one for a while. I understand you are filling holes, but you don't cut the value of the player you are trading just because you are getting need players in return. You could get so much more value for this haul of players.
