A's accept. We traded from a position of depth to get an elite OF in Judge. We hope that we acquired our 1B of the future in Pasquantino. We feel like we added a very good RP with a high leverage role in Pierce Johnson. Justin Steele, we feel, is just hitting his stride and will only improve on his very good season from a year ago. And it feels good to get back in the FYPD. We hate to lose Whitt, but being that we have a good SS depth, we feel as if it improved our team as a whole. As far as the prospects go, don't like losing them but felt it was necessary to acquire the players we did.

I agree to our trade. I hate losing Judge, but acquiring Bobby Witt is huge for me. Witt is approximately 7 treat younger than Trea Turner and Witt will be my future SS long term, for now he will handle my Utility spot. I got 2 pitching prospects that I hope will pan out. I wanted 3B for Judge, but couldn’t say no on Witt and his contract. Thanks to Oakland for our trade and wish you two the best now and long term 👏⚾️⚾️👍
