Injuries and underperformance are killing my championship odds. Need some reinforcement. I think Morton will do well down the stretch. Generally, I would not pay such a high price of picks for an expiring contract that I cannot keep but Mariners are taking back a lot of salary to facilitate the deal.

I agree. not much interest in Belt and Soler but necessary $$ to make the deal work

I am in the playoff hunt and actually playing the Twins this week and even with Morton I don’t have the pitching fire power to match his team, I was up earlier in match up but it was do to hitting, so giving up Morton I don’t think makes a difference on if I win or lose. So, picking up all the draft picks is worth it to me to be able to get more assets
