Mets Trade:
SS Scott Kingery-PHI $300,000 (2023)
OF Kyle Isbel (KCR) — not yet called up
Twins Trade:
OF Max Kepler (MIN) 300,000 (2021)

Twins rationell:
Max Kepler is young (26) and under control at a minimal cost through 2021. He will be leading off for the Twins and many are predicting a breakout season in 2019. Unfortunately, the Twins window for success is well beyond 2019. Kingery fits the Twins window for success better at 24 and under control through 2023. In addition, Isbel as a top 100 prospect has a chance to be a contributor during the Twins window for success.

I confirm. I make this trade because I'm 1 of those thinking/hoping that Kepler will break out this season. I'm giving up 2 more years of control in Kingery to find out. Also, trading Isbel from my surplus of MiLB OF'ers.
Kingery: acquired 2015 FYPD
Isbel: acquired 2018 FYPD

I believe Twins are getting the better end of this deal and personally think Isbel will be the gem of this entire deal. But, I think it's close enough given the current parameters.
