Twins accept.
I am set with 2 solid MLB catchers and Joey Bart on the come. Aramis Garcia is 28 years old and in the majors. Since I don’t need him currently nor do I foresee needing him in the near future, I wanted to move him.
Dwight Smith Jr. was a sweetener in the deal. I have sufficient similar OF so he was redundant on my roster as well.
I got a prospect that I like in Anderson Espinoza. He was highly regarded prior to his two (2) Tommy Johns but he is healthy and looking good again.

- Aramis Garcia is Tom Murphy's backup. The way Murphy is playing, may bode well for Garcia.
- If Espinoza can recover, this trade will certainly benefit both teams.

- - Aramis Garcia is Tom Murphy's backup. The way Murphy is playing, may bode well for Garcia. Garcia is SEAN Murphy's backup and has zero chance of taking the everyday job from him pending an injury to Murphy. That said, Murphy won't play 162 games so if Garcia's power translates and he cuts down on his swing and miss game, he could be useful as a fill-in. Approval #3 |
